Reminder concerning the watering by-law
Manual watering, using a pipe with a self-closing device is permitted at all times.
Watering of lawns by removable sprinklers or porous pipes is permitted only from 8 pm to 11 pm on the following days:
- for occupants of dwellings whose civic number is an even number, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays;
- for occupants whose dwelling number is an odd number, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays;
Notwithstanding the foregoing, it is permitted to water a new lawn every day between 8 pm and 11 pm for a period of 15 days after the commencement of the installation of lawn.
As for automatic watering systems, it is permitted to water only from 3 am to 6 am on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
