Rob Baker is a certified Wildlife tracker who lives and works in Montreal.  He is the Outdoor Education Tech at Vanier College. He holds a Level 3 certification in Track and Sign Identification and Trailing.  He has over 20 years in the field having tracked wolves in Algonquin Park and Mountain Lions in Colorado.

 

Conference | Wildlife at L’Anse-à-l'Orme

The presentation will feature the animals of the L’Anse-à-l’Orme area, which Rob Baker has been tracking in for over 15 years. He will present photos of the tracks and signs left behind as the animal moves across the landscape.  White tailed deer, coyotes, deer mice, red fox, meadow voles, and mink, otter, and fishers are some of mammals inhabiting the L'Anse-à-l’Orme area.

Tracking Workshop | Exploring the Rut of the White Tailed Deer

Come and experience the signs of White Tailed Deer in the rut or breeding season. Clear print tracks, scrapes, antler rubs, incisor feeding (debarking of trees), etc. and gain some insight into the one time per year that these Deer breed.

Tracking Workshop | Winter Track and Sign Workshop

Join us for an opportunity to come into the field and learn how to discover the presence of coyotes, red foxes, fishers, mink, weasels, white tailed deer and many other species.
