Take advantage of the passage of the Free 65+ Tour to obtain your Free 65+ All modes A fare!

Category : Elders

As of July 1st, 2023, residents of the Greater Montreal area that are 65 and older can benefit from the Free 65+ All modes A! transit pass offered by the Société de transport de Montréal (STM).

This new pass will enable people aged 65 and over to use public transit for free throughout Zone A (Greater Montreal area), whether by bus, metro, paratransit, Exo train or, when in service, with the REM. This measure is designed to help seniors fight inflation, while improving their quality of life and their means of getting around.

STM agents will be on hand at Centre Harpell, 60 rue Saint-Pierre, on June 15 and 16, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., to help residents obtain their Free 65+ All Modes A! pass.

What to bring with you for the Free 65+ Tour:

  • Valid proof of residency in the Greater Montreal area, dating back less than one year (with the exception of a driver's license)
  • Your Opus card (if you don't have an Opus card, you will need to bring a paper version of the duly completed OPUS card photo application form)
  • 15$ (cash only)
