    Public information session: inspections of submersible pump connections to municipal sewer systems

    Wednesday, October 9 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

    On August 9, the sanitary sewer system in the North sector was put to the test by extreme weather conditions, causing considerable damage to homes and municipal infrastructure.

    In this context, and in the face of growing climatic challenges, the City of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue is determined to adopt proactive measures to strengthen the resilience of its municipal infrastructures and minimize the impact on its citizens. To this end, the city is undertaking an inspection and analysis process.

    Residents of the North sector are invited to a public information session on the inspection process for the connection of residential submersible pumps to municipal sewer systems.

    • WHAT: Invitation to residents of the North sector of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue
      with the exception of homes located on Aumais, Frédéric-Bach and Vallée streets, north of Meloche Street.
    • WHEN: Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at 7 p.m.
    • WHERE: Peter-Williamson cottage (300 Cypihot St, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, QC H9X 4A7)

    Inspections are required to verify that submersible pump connections are in compliance with municipal by-laws, and that they are not connected to sanitary sewers.

    During the information session, residents will be given full details of the inspections, including how to book an appointment with the inspection company, how the inspection will be carried out, and what to do after the inspection.
