Notice of Construction on the North Service Road of the A-40 and Traffic DisruptionsHydro-Québec, in collaboration with its contractor GTEK, will soon begin work on the service road on both sides of the entrance located on Rue Frédéric-Back. Work will begin on July 9, 2026, and is expected to last approximately 35 workdays. During this period, one traffic lane will remain open, and access to Rue Frédéric-Back will be maintained. However, please note that access will be completely closed only during the phase of work involving the crossing of Rue Frédéric-Back. Traffic signs and flaggers will be present at the construction site to ensure the safety of workers and the public and to direct traffic. For everyone’s safety, please respect the signs in place. As a reminder, the work involves, among other things, the installation of a new water supply system to provide water to the fire protection network.

Make sure your blue bin is visible and placed 30 cm (12 inches) from the curb or sidewalk, so as not to impede traffic or the maintenance of public roads.
