Marché Ste-Anne

Sainte-Anne’s Market is an appointment not to be missed. This is a unique opportunity to meet the local producers and artisans of the area while purchasing good products.

 

Free loans of paddle boards and kayaks

Days : Fridays, June 10, July 15 and August 19
Location : 21300 Lakeshore Street, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec, H9X 2E3

On three occasions during the 2022 summer season, the City of Sainte-Anne, in partnership with Paddle Mac, will offer the loan of watercrafts to City residents free of charge. These loans will be for one hour and proof of residency will be required. Paddleboards and kayaks will be available.

In addition, a 20% discount* will be offered throughout the summer to residents who wish to purchase an individual or family membership.

Paddle Mac is located on McGill University's Macdonald campus in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, directly across from the STM 211 bus stop.

Salsa by the water

Starting at 7 p.m. on Fridays, June 17, July 29, August 26 and September 9, you will have the chance to sway to the beat of Latin music. The sessions will be held on the Canal Walk, where you will not only burn off some energy, but also enjoy the breathtaking view of the canal.

These musical shows presented by the merchants of Sainte-Anne Street take place in Lalonde Park from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., from June to September.

 

Wednesday concerts on the Boardwalk

Line dancing evenings

Every Thursday from June 30 to September 8, on the promenade du canal, you will have the opportunity to come and dance in a group with Nathalie Blais, line dancing teacher. Come and participate in these beautiful dance evenings starting at 6 p.m.

What better way to burn off energy and stay in shape than to come and move to the sound of music!

 

Celebration of Canada's National Holiday

This year's Canada's National Day program is organized by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 91 in Churchill.

The celebrations will begin with the raising of the Canadian flag at 12 p.m., followed by the firing of the cannon and then conclude with the national song of O Canada performed by Désirée Till, an internationally renowned opera singer. A bagpiper will march with the flags and a few words will be said to pay tribute to our great country. This ceremony is a way to pay tribute to the sacrifices of our ancestors and how fortunate we are to live in this great country.

Following the ceremony, hamburgers, hot dogs, and drinks will be served at low cost by UNO-NATO veterans to anyone who wishes. In addition, the Churchill Branch will be open to all to enjoy the lakefront on this day of celebration.

Ticket holders will be able to participate in a dinner dance to cap off the Canada Day celebration.

 

Street performers on the boardwalk

Each year, street performers offer a unique entertainment experience, bringing to life the boardwalk with exciting acts and live music during the summer months.

Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue’s Street Performers Program aims to encourage street performers and emerging artists with an opportunity to display their talents.

 

Skating disco evening

Day : Saturday, July 9
Location : Aumais Park, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue
Schedule : 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

As you may have noticed, the City now has a brand new permanent skating rink. To celebrate its inauguration, come and groove to the sound of 70s and 80s music on your roller skates.. A DJ will be on hand for this retro evening.

Free four-wheel skate rentals will be available on site for residents (proof of residency required). For non-residents wishing to borrow skates, a $10 fee will be charged. Number of pairs limited. You can always bring your own skates if you have any. Protective gear is strongly recommended (helmets, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, etc.). Free popcorn and non alcoholic beverages will be available throughout the evening.

Come and restore roller skating to its former glory for one night while celebrating the opening of the new skating rink!

 

River shuttle

Whether you want to discover historical attractions or simply to enhance your cycling tour, hop on board the river shuttle linking Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue to Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot. The shuttle will run three times during the summer near the canal promenade.

Outdoor movie nights

On two occasions this summer, you will have the chance to come and watch an outdoor movie for free. One screening will be in English and the other in French. A survey to find out your movie preferences will be distributed in the coming weeks. There will be food stands on site starting at 7 : 30 p.m. so you can pick up snacks to eat during the film.

Garlic Festival

The long awaited Sainte-Anne Garlic Festival will be held on Saturday, August 27th. On site, you will find many booths, activities and more. You can even stop by the Aviation Museum, which will be celebrating Family Day.

Naturally Sainte-Anne
