Naturally Sainte-Anne

The celebration of Nature is back again this year on rue Sainte-Anne. Everyone is invited to discover the beauty of nature surrounding our city, and to learn more about the importance of caring for Quebec's flora and fauna.

Eco-responsible food market booths. 
Creative workshops, awareness-raising workshops, entertainment and much more are on the program.

Marché Ste-Anne

Line Dancing Evenings

Days: Thursdays from June 29 to September 7
Location: Promenade du canal
Schedule: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Every Thursday from June 29 to September 7, on the Promenade du canal, you will have the opportunity to dance in a group with the line dancing instructor, Nathalie Blais. Come and take part in these fun dance evenings which start at 6 p.m.*

What better way to burn off energy and stay in shape than to come and move to the sound of music!

Wednesday Concerts on the Boardwalk

Days: Wednesdays, June 26 to August 28
Location: Promenade du canal (in case of rain: Centre Harpell, 60 Saint-Pierre Street)
Schedule: 7:30 p.m.
Cost: Free

Every Wednesday evening during the summer, come and enjoy free musical performances. We're waiting for you on the canal promenade. Music, sunset and fun. In case of rain, don't worry; the shows will be moved to the Harpell Center. Bring your folding chair!

  • JUNE 26 – SKYE CONSORT

Skye Consort and Emma Björling perform trans-Atlantic music from Scandinavia, Ireland and the British Isles, French-Canada, and original compositions. Enchanting stories and melodies in worldly chamber-folk settings: Groovy reels, passionate love songs and breathtaking hymns.

  • JULY 3 – SNOOKSTA AND THE GANGSTAS

Hailing from the Rhode Island and Boston area, Leslie Alston, better known as “Snooky”, has been performing for over 40 years on the Montreal music scene. Come out and enjoy the R & B, Soul, Funk and Blues of Snooksta, They’ll keep good vibes running through your mind, soul and body.

  • JULY 10 – VINTAGE VIBE BAND

A group of seasoned veterans from both the Quebec and Ontario music scene,Vintage Vibe will take you back on a sonic time warp and inject you with a musical dose of Classic Rock, R&B, and Funk. Performing songs from the ’60’s through‘90’s with their unique style and flair. Come and experience The Vibe!

  • JULY 17- BOUNTY HUNTERS

The Bounty Hunters (Nashville Experience) offer a high-energy show that will pump your crowd in a solid country way. The band also slides in some rock classics that everybody loves!

  • JULY 24 – SOUL TREE

Dorian Sherwood is one of Canada’s most talented R & B vocalists. He has had the pleasure of performing with such artists as Céline Dion, Chaka Khan, Robert Palmer and Corey Hart, to name a few. His career has taken him all over the world and he continues to WOW audiences everywhere.

  • JULY 31 – STEVE ROWE – THE URBAN BLUESMAN

Master blues guitarist Steve Rowe has earned his title of Guitar Hero through media and fans alike! A professional who derives his greatest satisfaction from songs and notes perfectly delivered.

  • AUGUST 7 – SOULFUSION

SoulFusion has been thrilling Canadian audiences with their classic style peace and love music for over 20 years. SoulFusion’s rocking sounds blended with a classically original feel, give new life to your old favourites. Featuring Canadian singer-songwriter Josée Brault on lead vocals and guitar.

  • AUGUST 14 – THE SWINDLERS BAND

The Swindlers are known not only for the furious energy of their live performances, the members of the band also love to play haunting ballads, sweet love songs and rollicking shanties.  Celtic, Roma, Eastern European, and Arabic styles all mix together in a seamless musical fabric….Welcome to the show!

  • AUGUST 21 – MUSEUMS

Museums is the psychedelic art-rock project led by multi-instrumentalist Ali Kouri (previously of The Day Dreamers), Nic Barkun, Anthony Kameka, and Lou Raskin. Crafting experimental sounds in surrealist realms, Museums songs oscillates between abstraction and reality with an ethereal, impulsive and evocative sound.

  • AUGUST 28 – ATMOSPHËRIQUE MMC

Atmosphérique MMC explores choice elements of the jazz-funk genre with conviction, elegance, and exuberance guaranteed to groove.

 

Salsa by the Water

  • 7 p.m.: Intro to Salsa Merengue with Baila Productions Salsa School - No partner or experience necessary!
  • 7:30 pm - 10 pm: Outdoor Dance.

Location: May 31 and June 28 at Centre Harpell, July 26 and August 30 on the Canal Promenade.

Join us Fridays for evenings full of passion and bewitching rhythms hosted by the Baila Productions salsa school. Salsa dance evenings are the perfect place for beginners and experienced dancers of all ages. Join in the fun, alone or with friends, and let the magic of salsa take you away.

Throughout the summer, the Service des loisirs offers family recreational and cultural activities in its various parks. On Thursday evenings, young and old alike can take part in a host of free activities - for residents.

*Skates for rent in limited quantities. First come, first served. Free rental for residents. Non-residents will be charged $10. We accept cash or card payments.

Come and restore roller skating to its former glory for one night only!

 

Garlic Festival

The garlic festival is back! Local shopkeepers, producers and artisans will be on hand to introduce you to their various products. Garlic bulbs, garlic braids and various processed products are on the menu.
