Acting Classes for Children - Hullaballoo Theatre



In a class with a maximum of 12 actors, we play games and theatre exercises from September to December. January to April is devoted to rehearsing a play for the beginning of May. We focus on becoming familiar with performing in front of an audience while working with, respecting and supporting each other.

11-15 years old | Tuesday 4 – 6 pm
7-10 years old | Thursday 4 – 6 pm

Indoor open skating

Initiation to Knitting

Want to learn to knit? On Tuesday afternoons after school, we offer two sessions of three workshops each on the basics of knitting. A different achievable project per session. Materials provided.

Karate classes

The Yamato Karate School teaches the Shotokan style, one of the founding styles from which all the other styles of karate practiced today originate. Yamato is a member of the Japan Karate Association (JKA).  The JKA learning approach and philosophy is the result of many years of practice and study of this martial art by numerous renowned instructors and masters.

Morgan Arboretum

The Morgan Arboretum is a 245 hectare forested reserve, situated on the McGill University Macdonald Campus in Ste. Anne de Bellevue on the western tip of the island of Montreal. The Arboretum is open daily throughout the year from 9 am to visitors who can walk and ski its trails in season. The public contributes to the development and maintenance of the Arboretum through the Morgan Arboretum Association, a non-profit organization.

In addition to an expanse of natural woodland containing examples of most of Quebec's native trees, the property supports 18 collections of trees and shrubs, from across the world, that include fir, oak, birch, maple, linden, spruce and flowering trees. The Arboretum is also home to 30 species of mammals, 20 species of reptiles and amphibians, and over 170 species of migratory and overwintering birds.

Outdoor skating rinks

Weather and ice conditions permitting, outdoor skating rinks are free and available for use by residents for informal skating and hockey. A helmet is highly recommended. The chalets will be accessible to participants during specific hours.

Stay Safe | Red Cross program

Take a stroll and enjoy nature and the great outdoors. Have fun sledding on the slopes of the Arboretum, live the experience of dog sledding, create a beautiful snow sculpture for all to enjoy, or simply take a hike down one of the many trails. BBQ ($) offered by the Arboretum.
