    The pool will be open from Monday June 17: 

    • 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday
    • 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 


    From the week of June 24, the full-time schedule begins as well as the planned programs.

    Daily Admission 

    The pool and wading pool are open to residents free of charge with proof of residency.
    Please note that there are no recreational cards available at this time. No reservation required.

    Non-Resident Rates  

    Fees apply to non-residents.

    • 3 to 17 years old : 3 $
    • 18 to 55 years old: 5 $
    • Seniors 55+ : 3 $
    • Groups (schools, daycare, etc.) : 2,50 $


    Clientele

    SADB pool : Children under 9 years old must be accompanied by an adult or a responsible guardian.

    Wading pool SADB :  The wading pool is for children 0-8 years old only. They must be accompanied by an adult or a responsible guardian.

    Opening period of the pool 

    Pool opening : Monday, June 17 2024.

    Closing of the pool : Tuesday, September 3 2024.

    Wading Pool 

    The wading pool is now open for the 2024 summer season.

    Schedule 

    *EARLY-BIRD SWIMMING: swimming period reserved for adults aged 18 and over.

    Please note that the pool may be closed to the public during certain special events.
    The City reserves the right to refuse bathers based on the maximum capacity of the pool.

    Reduced opening hours for the municipal swimming pool

    August 19 to September 2, 2024

    • Monday to Friday: 4 pm to 8 pm
    • Saturday and Sunday: 12 pm to 8 pm
    • Monday, September 2: 12 pm to 8 pm

    Classes 

    Registration dates for the classes:

    • Residents : May 27 to June 10 2024
    • Non- residents : June 3 to June 10 2024

    Program start date: week of June 24 2024

    Emergency measures

     Rain  

    The municipal pool may remain open to the public if rain does not cloud the water surface. Lifeguards must be able to see the bottom of the pool clearly.

    Thunder and lightning

    In the event of thunder or lightning, the municipal pool must be closed. It may be opened if there is no sign of thunder or lightning for at least 30 minutes.

    Water quality

    In the event of an out-of-spec filtration problem or following a fecal accident or vomiting, the municipal pool must be closed until the situation has been rectified, to ensure the health and safety of users and employees.

    Air quality

    The municipal pool must be closed if weather conditions are poor due to high levels of smoke or smog.  Users must evacuate the pool until the situation has improved.

    Staff shortages

    In the event of staff shortages, lack of lifeguards or lifeguards, all pool activities will be cancelled.
