• Open to the citizens of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue as well as to any organization / business established in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue and neighboring schools serving students residing on its territory;
• Must respond to a specific point of the “Moving Towards Sustainability” plan;
• Must clearly demonstrate how sustainable and achievable the project is;
• Must meet the funding criteria.

• Maximum 5% to 40% of the total budget may be a salary expense related to the organization or management of the project, provided that the applicant is part of (or a partner of) an organization that pays half or more of the wages;
• Advertising or promotional expenses (printing, etc.) are eligible;
• Details of the project budget must be provided and original receipts given for payment;
• The payment of the budget allocated under this fund is 40% at the beginning of the project, 40% upon presentation of the expenses of the first phase and 20% upon receipt of the final report;
• The applicant must authorize the Town of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue to promote his project. In the same way, the applicant must quote or display the contribution of the City of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue in its promotion;
• Eligible expenses: materials, plants, equipment rental, mileage expenses related to the project.

• Project meets the objectives of the "Towards a sustainable future" plan (30%);
• Realistic, achievable and measurable results (25%);
• The actions affect the citizens, organizations or the territory of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue (20%);
• The leader and / or group must be citizens or work in the territory of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue (15%);

• Passing grade: 70%

In 2015, the City of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue was pleased to support four beautiful projects through this fund:

First, the permaculture group of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue will receive $ 850 for the continuation and improvement of the permaculture garden in the northeast section of Jardin Harpell. In addition to the planting of 5 fruit trees, a space reserved for the cultivation of medicinal and other plants will be installed in the continuum of "terraces" already in place.

The Bout-de-l’Isle school will receive $ 1,500 to improve their community vegetable garden as part of their grant received in 2014, as well as to expand their ornamental garden project on its land. This year, a new flower bed with edible plants will be set up in front of the school. In addition, an educational project concerning the sorting of residual materials (recycling, composting and trash) will be implemented to educate its students about the protection of the environment.

As part of the Discovery Tuesdays of the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue Day Camp, GUEPE (United Group of Educators-Naturalists and Environmental Professionals) will receive $ 2,494 for the establishment of four training workshops. 2 hours that will allow children of all age groups to have fun by learning more about the biodiversity that surrounds them. In this way, children will be able to learn about bird watching with binoculars, catching insects with nets and will be able to manipulate animals from the biodiversity of the West Island of Montreal.

Finally, a grant of $ 2,500 will enable the project "Les saveurs de Sainte-Anne", presented by Ms. Patti Murphy. From July to September 2015, 2-hour walking tours will allow citizens and visitors to Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue to learn more about the history of the City from a culinary perspective

The Permaculture Group of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue received a $ 750 grant for the establishment of a permaculture garden in the northeast section of Jardin Harpell.

With a $ 1,200 grant, McGill University was able to carry out its "Monarchs in Schools" project. The establishment of milkweed plantations has increased the availability of habitat for Monarch butterfly populations and has helped to raise the awareness of the surrounding primary schools about the creation of these habitats and the breeding of caterpillars.

A grant of $ 1,500 enabled École du Bout de l’Isle to create a community vegetable garden and a garden of ornamental plants on its grounds to educate its 423 students on the notion of sustainable development.

The Grand Orme Coop received a $ 3,000 grant for the establishment of an educational heritage garden that illustrates the chronological evolution of vegetable gardens in Quebec. This project was also intended to revitalize the grounds of the historic Simon Fraser House located at 153 Sainte-Anne Street, the new home of the Grand Orme Coop since October 2013.

Finally, John Abbott College secured $ 3,177 to finance the purchase of a bike repair station near the bus terminal and campus bike path.
