Municipal Court and Tickets
Montreal’s municipal court has jurisdiction over the City’s entire territory in civil, criminal and penal matters, including all legal services pertaining to the processing of traffic and parking tickets. It operates under the authority of the Direction des services judiciaires of the Service des affaires juridiques et de l’évaluation foncière and is governed by the Municipal Courts Act.
