Wednesday Shows


Every Wednesdays in the summer, enjoy free music performances on the Promenade du canal (boardwalk).

Combine this outdoor show with a dinner or a drink on a terrace, and you have the perfect summer evening!



Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m.

No reservations required.

In the event of rain, the shows are moved to the Centre Harpell, 60 rue Saint-Pierre.

June 30 :
Gary Lindner Group
The Gary Lindner Group will transport you to a musical destination that reverberates a collage of Jazz-RNB and reharmonization of certain well-known compositions. The band features Jason Sherwood on vocals and Juno-award-winning drummer Jim Hillman.

July 7 :
Elie and the Velvet
Elie Haroun is an established Montreal singer. He and his band play R&B and Soul favorites that people of all ages will enjoy. Come and dance to the heavy grooves!

July 14 :
New Ministry
The New Ministry is a revival funk and soul band inspired by the 80’s band The Ministry of Truth. Featuring Luke Gossage-Bleho and Henry Rice-Gossage, sons of The Ministry of Truth’s frontman Mike Bleho Sr. and guitarist Dave Gossage. A collection of funk and family dance tunes to keep you moving all night long

July 21 :
Jim Doxas Quartet
The Jim Doxas Quartet features Jim Doxas (Juno and Felix Award winner) on drums, Lex French on trumpet, Adrian Vedady on bass and Steve Raegele on electric guitar. This band explores the intersection between jazz and atmospheric roots, folk, and classical composition.

July 28 :
Sonia Johnson et Stephen Johnston
Canadian jazz vocalist Sonia Johnson (Juno Award winner) and guitarist Stephen Johnston, pair up to pay a tribute to the albums and concerts Ella gave with the extraordinary Joe Pass from 1973 to 1986. Discover unforgettable melodies that reveal the sensitivity of two impressive musicians.

August 4 :
Snooksta and the Gangstas
Hailing from the Rhode Island and Boston area, Leslie Alston better known as “Snooky” has been performing for over 40 years on the Montreal music scene. Come out and enjoy the R & B, Soul, Funk and Blues of Snooksta, They’ll keep good vibes running through your mind, soul and body.

Shady Jane
If you love 60's, 70's, 80's disco, R&B, dance music, with a sprinkling of latest hits, come out and dance with SHADY JANE!!

August 18 :
Alan Baculis avec Kim Richardson
Electric bass master Alan Baculis brings Juno-award-winning vocalist Kim Richardson together with some of Montreal’s finest musicians for a soulful evening of old and new favourites.

August 25 :
