Unidirectional flushing of water pipes

Every year, as part of its water system maintenance program, the City conducts unidirectional flushing of water pipes throughout the entire territory.

• North Sector

Monday, September 22 to Friday, September 26, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• South Sector

Monday, September 29 to Friday, October 3, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Please note that these operations may cause a slight drop in water pressure and rust-colored (reddish) discoloration of the water. If your water is brown, please let the cold water run from the tap until the water is clear again.

We also recommend that you do not do laundry before 4 p.m. to avoid staining your clothes.

There is no need to contact public works to ask if work is being done in your area.
