    Special weather bulletin in effect for the Island of Montreal

    Conditions are favorable for the development of severe thunderstorms.

    In accordance with the City’s Extreme Weather Emergency Plan, we inform you that we will go into watch mode on Thursday, July 10, from this afternoon to this evening.
    • Power outages are possible in places;
    • Nautical activities could prove dangerous due to sudden violent gusts on water bodies;
    • Heavy rain can cause flash floods and considerably reduce visibility;
    • Strong gusts can damage trees or buildings and overturn vehicles;
    • Large hail can cause significant damage and serious injury;
    Our team will be monitoring the situation closely to ensure we are fully prepared for any developments.
    In the event of any changes, we will promptly provide you with further updates and advise you on the precautions to take. Please remain vigilant and observe all safety instructions.
